About Therapy

Initial Consultation

Finding the right counsellor is important. Counselling is personal, and the first step is simply seeing whether this feels like the right place for you.

I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation where you can tell me a little about what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions and get a feel for how I work. It’s also a chance for us to see whether we feel like a good fit.

If you’d like to continue, the next step is to arrange your first counselling session, either in person or online. Afterwards, we can talk about how it felt and whether you’d like to continue working together. There’s no pressure to continue if it doesn’t feel right.

Sometimes, finding the right place is where it starts.

Locations, Sessions and Fees

I see clients in person in Clapham and Streatham.  I can also see clients online. Sessions are usually once a week for 50 minutes.

Fees are £60 per session. I have a small number of reduced fee places for people on low incomes, please ask me about this.

Working ethically

I practise in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, which guides the way I work and the professional standards I uphold.

This means approaching our work together with care, respect and integrity, while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and taking your privacy, confidentiality and wellbeing seriously.

I also undertake regular clinical supervision, which provides a confidential space for me to reflect on my work and helps ensure that I continue to practise safely, ethically and in your best interests.
